Today in class i practiced using non destructive selections. I started with this image of the donkey, and then I added the straw hat. I used the magic wand tool to select the hat and add a layer mask. Then I placed the hat on top of the donkey and used the brush tool to make it seem like the ears were popping through the straw hat. I really enjoyed this project and it helped me become more comfortable with the brush tool.
